Storm Damage Repair
Wind, hail and fallen-branch damage found, protected and repaired, with photos you can put in front of your adjuster.
Chapter 01
What a Tri-Cities storm leaves behind
Wind does most of the damage here. It lifts shingles, tears them loose and works under flashing until a chimney or vent corner starts to let water in. Hail can dent or crack roofing materials, which weakens them. Fallen trees and branches cause structural damage and immediate leaks. Water stains on ceilings and walls often show up days after the storm, which is why people miss the connection.
Some storm damage is quiet. Bruised or cracked roofing can look fine from the driveway and still be shedding protection, and A&A's own guidance says hidden damage can compromise a roof's strength even when no leaks are visible yet. That is the reason to book an inspection after any severe weather, not just when the ceiling is wet.

Inspect everything, then protect it
A&A's storm process begins with an emergency response for urgent damage, then a thorough inspection of every part of the roof so nothing is overlooked. Loose or displaced flashing, missing shingles, hail marks and debris impact all get written down. If the roof is open to the weather, the crew performs temporary repairs to keep water out and secure the home.
Photo documentation is not a formality. It is how you show what happened, in which order, to an adjuster, and how you decide between repair and replacement without guessing. Jenny Hughes put the standard simply: the roofer inspected, showed her pictures of the damage, and completed the job two days later. Jenna Long's roof was covered with a tarp the same day after wind damage.
Chapter 03
While you wait on the adjuster
The first couple of days after a storm matter. Stay off a damaged roof. Photograph what you can see from the ground, with dates. Keep receipts for emergency protection, and call the office at 509-440-2428 before you call anyone else to start repairs. A&A can assist with the insurance claim, and whether it is approved is decided by your insurer, not by the roofer.
Once the claim is moving, A&A carries out quality repairs with the right materials and finishes with a comprehensive final inspection so you know the job is done properly. If the storm exposed an older roof's real age, A&A will say so plainly, and replacement will be on the table beside the repair.
