Roof Repair

Wind-lifted shingles, leaks, failed flashing and sagging spots, fixed with matched materials. The inspection is free.

Chapter 01

What wind and weather do to a roof

Small failures start quietly. A shingle lifts in a gust and never lies flat again. Flashing around a chimney, vent or valley pulls loose. Moisture finds the gap, and by the time a stain appears on the ceiling the water has been travelling for a while. A&A's own list of warning signs is worth a call: leaks or water damage, missing or damaged shingles, sagging or uneven areas, mold or mildew growth, and energy bills that climb for no clear reason.

The Tri-Cities add their own pressure. Wind is constant, summer heat dries and cracks sealant, and winter cycles of freeze and thaw pry at every seam. Ice dams form where heat escapes through the attic, melts the snow above it, and sends the water back to ice at the eave. A repair that ignores why the damage happened tends to come back next season, which is why the first visit is about diagnosis, not just patching.

A free look, then a fix that matches

A&A's repair process has four plain steps. A free inspection finds the problem. A detailed assessment explains how far the damage goes and what your options are. Quality repairs follow, using materials chosen to last. Then the crew cleans up and leaves the property free of debris. You hear the options before any work is approved.

Matching materials matters more than people expect. A patch in the wrong shingle shows from the street, and worse, it can leave the repaired area performing differently from the roof around it. Jenny Hughes wrote that David inspected her roof, showed her pictures of the damage, and finished the job two days later. Seeing the photos first is exactly how a repair should start.

Repairs are best planned for dry, mild weather, but a live leak will not wait for a forecast. If water is coming in tonight, call 509-440-2428 and ask for emergency help, which A&A offers around the clock.

Chapter 03

Knowing when a repair stops making sense

Every A&A roof repair comes with a warranty on the work, and A&A will tell you straight when a repair is the wrong tool. Extensive damage, leaks that keep returning, or a roof past its 20 to 25 year lifespan usually call for replacement. The crew that repairs roofs also replaces them, so there is no reason to talk you into a patch or into a new roof you do not need.

Once the roof is sound, keep it that way. Regular inspections and preventive maintenance catch the next loose shingle before it becomes the next leak, and A&A offers maintenance visits for exactly that. Treat the free inspection as the start of a record of the roof's condition, because the roofs that last are the ones somebody looks at every year.
