Insurance Claims
Documentation, claim filing help and adjuster communication for storm and leak damage. Coverage is decided by your insurer, not by us.
Chapter 01
When a roof claim is worth considering
A&A lists four situations where claim help makes sense: after storm damage from wind, hail or other weather, after a roof leak that causes interior water damage, after a natural disaster, and for general roof damage that may fall under your policy. Those are the common doors into a claim, and each one begins the same way, with a person looking at the roof.
Not every damaged roof needs a claim. Some repairs cost less than a deductible, and some damage is wear rather than an event. A&A's first step is an initial consultation to assess the damage and work out whether filing is even the right move. That honest first answer saves homeowners from paperwork that goes nowhere.

Documentation first, then the claim
A&A documents the damage extensively, with photographs and written reports, so the evidence exists before anyone argues about it. The team then assists you in filing with your insurance provider, making sure the information the company needs is included, and stays in communication with the adjuster to provide evidence of the damage and represent your interests.
The adjuster's visit is where good records pay off. Clear photographs tied to a clear description of the work involved make it easier to see what the damage is and what fixing it requires. Once the claim is approved, A&A begins repairs promptly to restore the roof, which is the last step of their process and the one that puts your home back in order.
Chapter 03
What stays in your hands
Coverage decisions belong to your insurer and your policy. A&A cannot promise an approval, an amount or a timeline, and will not pretend to. What they can promise is that the documentation is thorough, the paperwork is handled with you, and the repair is done by a licensed and insured crew. The WA L&I registration number, ROOFIRS798DE, can be looked up on the state's contractor database.
Keep your own file as well: your policy, dated photos from the ground, any mitigation receipts and every email from the insurer. If you are not sure whether a claim is worth filing, call 509-440-2428 and ask for a free inspection. A fair conversation about the roof comes first, and the decision about the claim is yours.
